WHAT IS STAINLESS STEEL SHEET?
The surface of the stainless steel plate is smooth and has high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkaline gases, solutions and other media. It is an alloy steel that does not easily rust, but it is not absolutely not rusty. Stainless steel plate refers to a steel plate that is resistant to corrosion by weak media such as atmosphere, steam, and water, and acid-resistant steel plate refers to a steel plate that is resistant to corrosion by chemically aggressive media such as acid, alkali, and salt. Stainless steel plates have been around since the beginning of the 20th century, and now have a history of more than a century.
Stainless steel does not stain, corrode, or rust as easily as regular carbon steel and provides high strength and impact resistance along with the aesthetic appeal. The material also has anti-bacterial qualities and is easy to clean and sanitize.
Stainless steel sheet is typically sold in the annealed condition and is available in most grades. Our stainless steel sheets come in both a standard 2B finish and various polished finishes. Polished surfaces range from the standard #4 to a mirrored finish #8 and are usually covered with a removable vinyl coating. Our standard sheet sizes include 4' x 8', 4' x 10', and 5' x 10', but customized sizes are also available. Stainless steel plate is sold in the HRAP (Hot Rolled Annealed and Pickled) condition and finishes.

HOW DO YOU CUT STAINLESS STEEL SHEET?
Like sheet, stainless steel plate comes in standard sizes varying in width from 4' to 8' and in length from 8' to 20', but can also be customized to suit the application. Stainless cut plate may be sheared in thicknesses up to 3/8", and plasma cut in thicknesses over that.  Waterjet, band-saw, or laser cutting is also available. 2B	Those finished, after cold rolling, by heat treatment, pickling or other equivalent treatment and lastly by cold rolling to given appropriate luster.The surface brightness and flatness of No.2B is better than No.2D. Processing	The whole process is done at high temperature and at the end is being cooled down	Cold rolled steel is heated and cooled at the room temperature and then rolled after again
